Not surprisingly, Xarchy’s lament about the lack of good ethnic eating in this town inspired many suggestions — and a few excellent insults (read them all here).
Still, for efficient put-downs, it’s hard to beat this from Harvey, who took commenter Alanis to task for suggesting that a free brunch for a young cancer survivor was exploitation:
I don’t understand why Alanis would go to the great effort of flipping her keyboard over and putting it behind her so that she could type her comment with her head up her ass.
We’ve said it before and we’ll no doubt say it again: Denver’s restaurateurs are incredibly generous, and this gesture by Olivea was just one of many random acts of kindness from this industry — most of which go unsung.
And uncriticized.
