Rosenberg’s Bagels and Deli is still closed after a fire in the second-floor apartment last Sunday damaged the deli (a body was found in an apartment closet, and the fire is being investigated as an arson/murder). But while you won’t be able to grab a bagel at Rosenberg’s this weekend, you can find one at the Source, which is pairing with RiNo Yacht Club to host a pop-up shop from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, May 15. Although the full Rosenberg’s menu won’t be available, you’ll be able to get a bagel with a schmear, or a bagel sandwich. Says Jonathan:

Pretty awesome that a fellow business is helping them out while they’re down and out from such shitty circumstances.

 And Trevor has one suggestion:

Maybe they’ll provide them with toasters. All I want to do is try the bagel toasted.

Rosenberg’s owner Joshua Pollack is planning to host other pop-ups until his place is repaired and he can reopen; maybe Trevor can provide a toaster as a house-warming present. In the meantime, today you can see him at the Source, 3350 Brighton Boulevard.
