Attorney Sana Hamelin had a dream: to open a cat cafe, one of the first in the country. She found the purrfect spot at 3929 Tennyson Street, and late last year opened the Denver Cat Company, which immediately started attracting fans of coffee and kitties. And those fans came out in force last week, after news broke that one of the cafe’s customers had been bitten by a cat, and was suing Hamelin. Says Lindsey:
No amount of money can compensate her for her suffering. I bet she can barely get out of bed. Next we should sue if we get bit by a mosquito on a restaurant patio.
Have you been to the cat cafe? Do you think customers should have to sign waivers when they come in?
