The third annual Roots, Beans and Greens goes down at Crossroads Theater, 2590 Washington Street, from 6 to 9 p.m. this evening. The all-ages, free party will focus on educating kids and their parents about the importance of an organic, local diet. And that mission is especially close to Ietef Vita, a 2013 Westword Mastermind winner who’s hosting the party, and debuting a new video there titled “Brown Rice and Broccoli,” which features local youths rhyming about eating healthy.
