While Elway’s patio can be a perfectly civilized place to while away an hour — or six — this space should be a lot wilder tonight, when Elway’s kicks off its first Wednesday night patio party, Live from Elway’s Backyard, and the action spills onto the sidewalk beyond the restaurant. For these weekly events, Elway’s sets up both a stage and extra bars in the open space to service the crowds, and those crowds just keep coming, and coming.
They come for the music, sure (the Railbenders will play from 6:30-9 p.m. tonight, and close off the season on August 13), but also to see and be seen in their best cougar-country attire. The actresses on Sex and the City don’t have a thing on these backyard babes. No matter the actual temperature, this patio is hot!
