We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again: There can never, ever be too many breakfast emporiums, and over the weekend, Tangerine, a new restaurant from Alec Schuler, opened in Boulder directly next door to Arugula, Schuler’s farm-to-table dinner restaurant.
The fifty-seat space — contemporary, bright and bedecked with the hues of citrus — features a rise and shine menu strutting French-pressed jolts of caffeine, bubbles and tangerine bloodies, biscuits with sausage and duck confit gravy, a bumper crop of pancakes and waffles, organic, locally-sourced eggs done every which way — including cast-iron baked, and housemade corned beef hash. The board definitely isn’t a yawner — and we can’t wait to try it.
Tangerine offers breakfast, brunch and lunch, seven days a week, from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. For more info, call 303-443-2333.
