The Cherry Creek Noodles & Company — the first store in this homegrown chain — has closed. Founder Aaron Kennedy opened the original location at 2360 East Third Avenue in 1995, and the fast-casual restaurant has since expanded into a national chain with over 200 locations in eighteen states.

According to employees at the nearby 2205 East Colfax location, an increase in rent was the cause for the closure in Cherry Creek.
