Cheese + Provisions is holding a Winter Beers and Cheese pairing today at 7 p.m. The cold winter months mean big beers, and this course will teach you the basics of pairing holiday ales, barley wines, imperial stouts, porters and Belgians ales with a variety of cheeses. BookCliff Vineyards Winery is hosting Eric Skokan from Black Cat Farm Bistro for a five-course wine-pairing dinner at 6 p.m. this evening.
