Lunch options for the Denver Tech Center crowd are about to get a little more interesting. Fry bread and Indian taco specialist Tocabe: An American Indian Eatery announced last week on its Facebook page that it will be opening a location in Centennial near Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre.

Ben Jacobs and Matt Chandra opened the original Tocabe in 2008 in Berkeley. Now a neighborhood favorite (and a special treat every year at the Taste of Colorado), Tocabe’s food has even garnered national attention: a 2010 article in the Atlantic put Tocabe on the forefront of the Native American cuisine movement.
Since then, rumors have swirled regarding expansion of the concept to multiple restaurants, but the new address announced by Tocabe is evidence that those rumors are finally becoming reality. We’ll keep you posted once we know the opening date.
