Bacaro Venetian Taverna, 921 Pearl Street in Boulder, is hosting the first in a series of farm-to-table dinners this evening — spearheaded by the restaurant’s new chef, Aaron Bennett; who will improvise the menu based on patrons’ tastes.

The customized meal will feature goat cheese from Haystack Mountain Farms; Colorado lamb from Mountain Meadow Farms; pork shoulder and tenderloin from Longs Farm; greens and squash from Isabel Farm and sweet corn, Palisade peaches and beets from Munson Farm. There will also be locally-sourced, organic cocktails available to purchase separately.

Dinner begins at 6 p.m. and costs $45; call 303-444-4888 to RSVP.
