Trattoria on Pearl has left Pearl Street in Boulder. In an e-mail announcing the restaurant's closing today, a spokeswoman said: "With a heavy heart and distinctly mixed emotions, I must report that effective immediately, the restaurant is closed permanently." See also: Snow day deals...

Trattoria on Pearl was opened in 2005 by Guillermo Casarrubias, who’d come to Boulder after working in the kitchens of many Chicago restaurants; he oversaw the Trattoria kitchen up until the end.

Trattoria on Pearl was renowned for its snow-day deals, but now those have dried up for good.
