$20,000

The Kickstarter campaign, Facebook page and website for Twin Hops Brewing Co. — a new brewery concept from brothers Brad, Scott and Rick Burton (Brad and Scott are identical twins) — have all inexplicably disappeared from the Web. The brothers launched their Kickstarter fundraiser earlier this month at Denver Bicycle Cafe with a goal of raising $20,000; they’d also developed six beers with labels in anticipation of opening.

“We have six beers fully developed,” Rick told Westword after the launch. “Bad Medicine Oatmeal Stout, Salinger Rye IPA, Golden Spike Pale Ale, Scantily Clad Blonde, Smoked Green Chile Porter and a yet-to-be named IPA. We’ll probably have a seven-barrel brewhouse and we’ll definitely do a tap room.”

The Burtons had yet to find a space at that time, but were planning on opening the doors in the first quarter of 2013.

No one at Twin Hops could be reached for comment. We’ll update you if we here back.
