Reader support matters more than ever
We're in the final stretch of our summer campaign. Our goal is to raise $25,000 by August 9 to support the journalism our community relies on. Reader support is helping shape the future of local news.
Things are bound to get wild during tonight’s Do at the Zoo. So throw on your best animal-print attire and head to the 27th annual fundraising bash, which will feature food and drinks from over sixty of Denver’s top restaurants, live music, dancing, animal encounters and more.
Over the years, more than 48,000 Do at the Zoo guests have raised over $11.5 million for the Denver Zoo. Proceeds from the event benefit the zoo’s daily operations, including the care and feeding of more than 4,000 animals, as well as education and conservation efforts.
Tickets to the Do, which starts at 7 p.m. at the Denver Zoo, are $175 per person and will get you after-hours access to the zoo, food, drinks, live music and more; you can find tickets and more information at denverzoo.org. The zoo will be closing at noon today to prepare for the festivities.
