The Colorado House gave light beer lovers a Cinco de Mayo present yesterday, passing Senate Bill 60 — which would allow bars and restaurants to sell any beer, no matter how light — on a second reading.

And now word has come in that SB 60 just passed the full House — which means the next stop is the governor’s desk. And since John Hickenlooper is a former restaurateur (and current beer lover), we’re pretty sure he’ll do the light thing and sign the bill into law.
