Just over a month ago, we reported that the owners of the Walnut Cafe, 3073 Walnut Street, a Boulder spot that serves up hearty breakfasts, sandwiches and salads, was planning to unveil a food truck.
That truck, Walnut-a-gogo, hit the pavement today.
Julia Buonanno, Dana Derichsweiler and Ashlie Beckham are the masterminds behind “Dinah,” the truck with a paint job that’s hard to miss, and they’re offering up a pretty extensive menu from the mobile kitchen. The list of food includes burgers, sandwiches, oatmeal, espresso and coffee, a kids’ menu and the famed eggs Marco in quesadilla form, incorporating eggs, bacon, cheddar and cream cheese in a griddled tortilla.
The truck’s first stop was Rose Medical Center in Denver. To hear about the truck’s future whereabouts, “like” Walnut-a-gogo on Facebook.
