“Times are tough but no family should go without a wholesome meal during the holidays. Whole Foods Market thinks of itself not just as a business, but as a responsible steward of the community. Grab & Give is an idea born of caring for our community and its people.”
So says Ben Friedland, marketing coordinator for Whole Foods’s Rocky Mountain region. The Grab & Give program lets customers purchase pre-packaged meals from the store for needy families, and it just wrapped up the season after raising $418,521 — or over 60,000 meals for families of four.
