Just got off the phone with Jon Edwards, one of the owners of Kaos, a new take-out pizzeria that was skedded to open months ago at 1439 South Pearl Street, just a block or so from Gaia Bistro. That’s the excellent breakfast and lunch cafe that Edwards runs with Patrick Mangold-White, who’s also got a piece of the pie at the much-delayed Kaos.
They’d hoped to get it finally open on Halloween, but didn’t (blame the witch’s curse). Still, it’s opening soon, very soon, says Edwards, who’s promising pizza delivery on Monday, November 9 — the day that he swears Kaos will officially fire up the ovens.
Unless more chaos ensues.
