Cantina Loca

The first solo project from chef Dana Rodriguez (the eponymous “Loca” and co-owner of Work & Class and Super Mega Bien) shines a spotlight on her Mexican heritage. The menu includes tacos, of course – but not just any tacos. Here, the barbacoa tacos are made of meltingly tender beef cheeks and the fish tacos are battered in a flavorful, coal-black coating that utilizes charred vegetable scraps from other dishes. While you’re scarfing Mexico City-inspired snacks and street food, sip brightly flavored and colored cocktails, or opt for copitas of tequila or mezcal from Rodriguez’s own brand, Doña Loca.
