In October 2023, chef-owner Lydee Lovett transformed her Highland restaurant Chicken Rebel into the breakfast-and-lunch spot Wilde. The pastel haven offers a.m. entrees like breakfast pizza, shrimp and grits and French stuffed toast, while sandwiches, tacos and fish and chips round out the lunch menu. Forlorn fans mourning the loss of Lovett's famed Chicken Rebel sandwiches will be thrilled that a Nashville hot version remains on Wilde's menu.
