Barbed Wire Reef has been around since 2011, when it started as a food truck. It's since opened a brick-and-mortar location and went through a rebrand in 2022, when it switched gears to primarily serve Mexican cuisine. The menu includes tacos and playfully named cocktails, but also more composed dishes such as New York strip marinated in achiote and snapper with roasted cauliflower purée and pickled vegetables.
