New York Deli News is Denver's answer to the famed Carnegie Deli of Manhattan, with a few important differences. Although the plates are substantial, typically heaped with corned beef, pastrami and brisket imported from New York, they're not huge — and neither is the bill. More significantly, the servers are friendly and patient, giving diners a chance to peruse the large menu. Staples include matzoh ball soup and potato-based classics, including knishes and pancakes, alongside such house specialties as the French dip sandwich and French toast. Always bustling, this deli is an experience as much as a meal.
