At SolVista Basin at Granby Ranch, you can enjoy skiing the way it was in the ‘70s, perhaps even the ‘60s -- when you could park at the base of the hill, go to your car between runs to grab another sweater or ditch a layer, maybe even eat a sandwich. But while the feel at SolVista is laidback, all of the equipment is thoroughly up-to-date, and you won’t be waiting in long lift lines like they did in the ‘70s. The slopes are all impeccably groomed, and the view from the top of the mountain offers a stunning look at the old ranching community of Granby and the valley beyond.
