Eclectic enough to make sense on South Broadway but more elevated than nearby watering holes, the Goldfinch filled a gap in the Platt Park neighborhood when it debuted in March 2024 — which was intentional. Owner Iain Chisholm lives nearby and designed the place to be a cocktail bar with a solid food program so that neighbors wouldn't have to travel downtown for great drinks. Along with offering a weekend brunch and regular happy hour, the Goldfinch regularly hosts a wide range of DJs.
