Dear Stoner: I've been seeing two-, four- and eight-gram jars of rosin on sale, and they're priced at better value than single grams. Would the rosin keep well, and do you think I'd get too acclimated after dabbing the same strain for so long?
Almond B.

Dear Almond B.: If you're thinking about spending $200 or more on eight grams of rosin, then it's fair to say you've already acclimated to THC and dabbing. And when you're flush with hash or grass, it takes a lot of discipline not to smoke or share more. While puffing the same strain for a month can get boring and impact your tolerance, too, an occasional break or keeping a few other rosin or flower varieties around should be enough to keep you balanced.

You want rosin that is white, milky or creamy with a yellowish hue.

Buying rosin Costco style is obviously good for the budget if you can afford it on the front end, and the hash will keep just fine in the fridge. Maybe get two four-gram jars for a nighttime/daytime combo instead of going all out with eight, though, and make sure to sniff and look at what you're buying first. That's no small investment.
