Since 2007, The Transistor Festival has been bringing together Denver’s experimental electronic scene in what has since become a massive three-day festival in the dead center of summer. This year will be no different, and the recently released schedule looks like it’ll be an incredibly diverse, action-packed weekend running from Friday, June 10, through Sunday, June 12.
This year’s edition of Transistor is spread over three venues. Although the bulk of the acts are slated to perform at the Walnut Room, the Walnut Room Pizzeria on South Broadway is hosting pair of all-ages shows on Friday and Saturday, and the Gypsy House is hosting a night of music on Sunday night.
From the looks of the lineup, which is about as big as you’d expect at a larger outdoor festival, there will be a ridiculous amount of performers gracing the stage at the Walnut Room all weekend. It’s also a bit more diverse than it might initially seem.
While ambience is covered pretty well, there are semblances of a few other experimental artists, including ones who work with harsh noise, hip-hop, dance, collage, found sound and more. There are a few national acts tossed in this year for good measure, including Not Breathing, Jeremy Winters, Galactic Vacationer and 47th Star. See the full lineup below:
