Eagle-eyed fans who noticed the coordinates were quick to say that Of the Trees was teasing a show in the mountain town — and they were right. On April 8, Of the Trees announced he would be in Telluride for a "curated concert experience with camping" from August 22 to 23.
"My team and I are incredibly excited to bring a concert experience to a location where the natural beauty is perhaps an even bigger centerpiece to the experience than the show itself," says Of the Trees. "This is the beginning of realizing the dream I’ve always had of hosting events that bring people together to a place where nature and music are intertwined in a way such as this."
And on April 14, Of the Trees announced more details for his festival, dubbed Camp Alderwild. The festival will take place at Telluride Town Park, with doors opening at 5 p.m. and performances starting at 5:30 p.m.

About Of the Trees
Tyler Coombs is based in Denver, joining a long list of the area's producers whose sound has resonated worldwide, such as Big Gigantic and Mersiv, who recently debuted a new audio and light project at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. As Of the Trees, his music draws from his background growing up in the northeast, with Coombs describing his sound as "ice cold bass music from the frigid plains of Maine." After making his name across music festivals and tours, the producer is considered one of the most impressive conductors of organic bass, selling out such venues as Red Rocks. In fact, he's already sold out his two-night run this year, which happens on November 16 and 17.
