The 2026 Red Rocks schedule has been rolling out, and this could be the most exciting announcement so far: Amyl and the Sniffers will be at the venue on Wednesday, June 19.
The Australian band, which played a sold-out show at Mission Ballroom in April, is one of the most talked-about acts around, reviving punk rock behind powerhouse vocalist Amy Taylor, drummer Bryce Wilson, guitarist Declan Mehrtens and bassist Gus Romer. Amyl and the Sniffers are riding high after a sold-out tour with Turnstile, as well as their own successful headlining tour across the U.S., U.K. and Europe.

About Amyl and the Sniffers
Amyl and the Sniffers formed in Balaclava, Melbourne, when the members were roommates in 2016; within a half-day, the band had written and recorded its first EP, Giddy Up. The Sniffers followed it up with a second EP, Big Attraction, the next year, before releasing a self-titled debut album in 2018. That year, the group toured with fellow Aussie band King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard in performances that The New Yorker reported “left audiences slack-jawed.”
The band’s debut won awards in Australia and was praised by critics around the globe. In the years that followed, Amyl and the Sniffers released their second album, Comfort to Me, and toured with bands like Jane’s Addiction, Green Day, the Smashing Pumpkins and Foo Fighters. With electrifying performances, these musicians won a large following of fans in the U.S., touring and performing at festivals like the Underground Music Showcase.
Most recently, Amyl and the Sniffers were touring for their third album, Cartoon Darkness, another major hit that continues the members’ empowerment of the punk movement.
