Audiofly at Beta

The music of Audiofly is a delicious mix of funky techno and the deep, dirty side of house: sexy, driving and warm, but always with a distinctly electronic edge. Since meeting in 2002, the duo of Luca Saporito and Anthony Middleton have had tremendous success under the collective name (and under the slight variation Audiofly X, which they use for their minimal excursions) as both DJs and producers. Their productions include underground hits "Circles" and the Stolen Goods EP, and they've remixed the likes of Deep Dish and Claude VonStroke. Behind the decks, they are in demand worldwide, from Ibiza to Amsterdam. The last time they were in Denver, opening for Steve Lawler, they almost outplayed the headliner — quite a feat considering Lawler's impressive skills. Catch them Saturday, July 11, at Beta.
