Just popped up to Aviano Coffee in the Beauvallon, right around the corner from our office for a decaf (can’t handle all that caffeine this late in the day) Americano, and heard from the owner, Doug, that the shop is going to be debuting its weekly anything-goes open mike tomorrow morning at 9 a.m. Anything? Yep. Doug says that if you’d like to read poetry while playing a song, have at it. More than thirty people have already expressed interest, so there should be quite a crowd.
