We all know Denver's got a sick dubstep scene, and the fact that underground players have taken bass into the streets before just serves to prepare dubstep lovers for the two-day Bass Invasion 3 festival at Cervantes' Masterpiece Ballroom — because this time, two stages and four walls won't be enough to contain the party. The festivities will spill out onto Welton Street with music and a street fair comprising food, clothing, art and more before the sun sets and the music moves inside. Dubstep heavyweights including Downlink, Vaski, BOK BOK, Kingdom, Mark Instinct, Terravita and Sluggo, as well as local representatives CacheFlow, Peter Black, Just Ben and others, are scheduled to perform, and they'll no doubt be dropping wobbles and hi-hats to kick your dancing shoes into overdrive. So go ahead and clear your weekend calendar for this two-day, all-ages show; it kicks off Friday, September 16, and runs through Saturday, September 17. Let the bass begin.
