Not to be outdone by Best Coast and WAAVES, whose Christmas song for Target ("Got Something for You") has been all the chatter around the water cooler this week, Breathe Carolina has penned a new Christmas song specifically for those of us in the Mile High City -- well, sort of. It's a called "Mile High Christmas," and hoo boy, is it ever a fitting ditty for this here city!

The tune, slated to appear on its label's forthcoming ...Tis The Season To Be Fearless comp -- alongside songs from labelmates For All Those Sleeping, the Maine, Go Radio, Amely, Sparks the Rescue, Let's Get It, Artists vs Poet -- "Mile High Christmas" is basically an ode about getting Santa, ahem, a mile high with "special cookies" and then worrying if he can steer his sleigh all right with the astute observation: "'Cause I won't get shit next year if you die." Sure to be a classic, ...Tis The Season To Be Fearless drops next week.
