On Wednesday night, a bulletin from Club 303’s MySpace page was sent out stating that the club was closing. Turns out, that was the work of the club’s former marketing director, who was recently fired. (Look for much more on this situation in next week’s Bar Back column.) The spot is definitely open for business. In fact, the club’s grand opening is slated for tomorrow night, Saturday, January 10. Joanna Krupa and 25 of Denver’s top models will be on hand to help kick things off, with DJ Golden B on the decks tomorrow night. Make you sure you get there early: There’s an open bar from 9 p.m. to 10 p.m. The 18,000 square-foot multi-level club, which took over the former Polly Esther’s location at 2301 Blake, sports a dance club in the basement and a live music venue on the main floor, which will feature country bands at least one night a week.
