Dance Card: The Crystal Method, Brett Johnson, Eminence Ensemble, and more this weekend

We don't know about you, but our Dance Card is looking pretty full this weekend; here's a rundown of where you can find some booty-shaking tunes: Full Flavor Fridays monthly residency is bringing Dallas-based Brett Johnson to the Appaloosa Grill for a record-release party; there will be swag giveaways and opening support by the Tableist, Sound Advice and Greg Campbell. (9 p.m., 21+, $10 suggested donation)

The bass will drop at Casselman's tonight at the Summer Meltdown, featuring Eminence Ensemble, Ghosthouse, Jantsen, GODLAZER, the Digital Connection, SWAN, Janksta, DJ Reflect, DJ Pryzm and Technicolor Tone Factory. (4 p.m., 21+, $15-$20)

Forever Fridays rings in the weekend at Beta with DJ Petey spinning live in Hot 107.1 FM. Pop hits and dance mixes for everyone's dancing pleasure - and a special treat at P.U.N.C.H.I.S., the Mother Earth Sound System (MESS) crew, with P.U.N.C.H.I.S. resident Angel Castro and Scott Everett vs. Trip Coffin spinning techno, tech-house and minimal selections. (9 p.m., 21+, $10, no cover for ladies)

It's Friday Fling again at the Funky Buddha. Enjoy DJ Shakes 1 with guests as they serve up some hip hop and Top 40. Don't forget the party on the patio! (8 p.m., 21+)

Spencer Krootz will be the guest on the main floor for Global Fridays at the Church. With a mash-up in the basement and Peter Elzi in the Retro room. (9 p.m, 18+, ladies 21+ free)

Denver is treated to the Crystal Method for a DJ set in the FunHouse at Beta on Saturday. These electronic pioneers take you on a ride like no other -- expect to keep yourself moving on the dance floor. Tickets are going fast, so get on it! Cognition, T-Rav and Jontron round out this awesome night of dance. (9 p.m., 21+, $20)

It's House of Buddha Saturday at Funky Buddha, where ladies drink for $1 from 9 to 11 p.m. House is the style of choice upstairs, where Brett Starr will be holding his House Revival All-Vinyl Edition with Beekay and Matt Bass switching off at the decks, and resident DJ Wushu will get the party rolling with electro party rock and hip-hop downstairs. (9 p.m., 21+, no cover)

Not dark enough for you? This Saturday at Milk, Mike Rich will be rolling out the best '80s and '90s in the Milk Bar while Roland rocks out in the jazz room with the best goth, industrial and dark wave you've never heard. (9 p.m., 21+, free before 10 p.m., $5 after)

Or smooth things out at Boogie Boutique at Cluster Studios with DJ Rick, Tony Rodelli (it's his birthday!), Brick Lee, Beufie and Ejay. (10 p.m., 21+)

Es Chinory and Soulshocker will be taking over the Alter Egos main floor at Vinyl on Saturday spinning electro and progressive house. Don't forget the basement that will be featuring hip hop with DJ Danny while DJ True mashes up house and electro on the second floor and Dave Peacock rocks out on the rooftop with 80s and 90s Top 40. (9 p.m., 18+)

Maxim Bass at the Maxim Lounge is where bass-lovers will be this Saturday, featuring mixed-genre sets of house, trance, breaks, dubstep, electro and more from Natural Nate, Proteje, DJ Ghetto vs. Cassette, ak karu and DJ FortyTwo. (8 p.m., 18+, $1 cover)

Don't want to go home? Maybe you need to dance off that last shot you had at 1:30am? Head over to 2AM for SoundPharmacy for a little after-hours fun. Wristbands from other SOCO clubs get you $5 off entry. It's time to dance until the sun comes up. (1 a.m., 18+)

Happy Hour starts at 4 for Climax on the Roof Sunday at Vinyl. Until 6 p.m., they offer $1 drafts and $2 wells. Shake it in the afternoon and all through the night with this daylight head start. (4 p.m., 21+)

DJ Lobo wants to introduce you to a little sensuality for a night at Bar Standard for Noches De Travesura. Dance to your favorite Latin tracks for this night that will prove to be muy caliente! (9 p.m., 21+)

Some like it in the dark. Those who do on Sundays go to the Church. This Sunday it's all about Siouxsie and the Banshees at Sin Sundays at the Church with resident DJ's Slave1 and Roland. The night is a dark tribute to the queen of goth Siouxsie Sioux. SIN doubles as service industry night. Just show your paystub or work ID for free entrance. (9 p.m. 18+, free before 10 p.m., $5 after)
