Dave Seaman at the Church

From co-writing hit songs for Kylie Minogue to playing the biggest dance-music festivals in the world, Dave Seaman (due on Saturday, November 28 at the Church) has done it all. His mainstay is pumping, progressive house with a healthy tech influence that’s underground but easily accessible and capable of filling a big room with ease. His list of accomplishments includes more than a dozen entries in the popular and influential Renaissance and Global Underground mix series (eleven Renaissance, three Globals), a three-year stint as editor of Mixmag, and running Audio Therapy, an imprint that has released tracks and remixes from artists such as Timo Maas and Tiger Stripes. As a producer, he’s been responsible for classic tracks like “Such a Good Feeling” (as half of Brothers in Rhythm), from the early ’90s, through recent releases such as “Attack of the Abalones” and the just-released “K Conundrum” (with Andy Chatterley), which has already made it into the playlists of influential DJs such as Pete Tong and John Digweed.
