Exploring mall culture and more with Cop Circles's Luke Leavitt

Cop Circles's Luke Leavitt spent time living in Egypt as a kid and formed a band while attending Vassar College in New York. He moved to Denver and found a city where he could play his keytar as part of a protest and develop an intense live show. We spent a day with him at Aurora's Town Center mall. Read about in this week's music feature, now posted on the Backbeat blog.
KEEP WESTWORD FREE... Since we started Westword, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Denver, and we'd like to keep it that way. With local media under siege, it's more important than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" program, allowing us to keep offering readers access to our incisive coverage of local news, food and culture with no paywalls.
