The name Faces of Radio is fitting for this band, because it seems like the players are aiming for the airways — or at the very least, enticing people to make their way to the dance floor. With that in mind, the act relies on a somewhat safe and formulaic approach to get there. While there’s some infectious, danceable stuff here and a few tracks that have true potential, such as the synth-driven pulsing electro-disco of the opening cut, “Escape,” or “Burn It Down,” the closing track, the band’s six-song EP is not what you’d call groundbreaking. Then again, music doesn’t necessarily have to be innovative to make you want to dance or even make it on the radio these days.
