The Fluid, which plays a reunion show on June 20 at the Bluebird Theater, wasn’t just a great-sounding band. It was also a highly visual one thanks to flashy lead singer John Robinson and a supporting cast that brought a variety of compelling rock-and-roll styles to the stage. Get a glimpse of the players in their late ’80s/early ’90s prime thanks to the accompanying slideshow – a whopping fifty images provided by Los Angeles-based filmmaker Michael Lustig, who became a lifelong Fluid fan during the period when he lined up talent for a defunct Denver club called the Garage. If a picture is worth a thousand words, you’ve got the equivalent of a great book ahead of you.
