While we’re not entirely sure we get the symbolism of the imagery attached to this flier — the focal point of which appears to be a figure who looks like Jesus leaning on an inverted hand drum in front of a vague cluster of men of unknown origin? — or how it relates to a show celebrating the exodus of the outgoing commander-in-chief, we likey. Always a big fan of anything hand-created, as anachronistic as that might seem. It was enough to pique our interest in tonight’s gig at the Walnut Room, which features Effektor, George W. Nixon (now, that, we get), In Favor of Eliza and Radical Knitting Circle. Nice work, gentlemen.
