Flier of the Week: Peña at the Lion’s Lair

Yeah, I know we already had a flier of the week, on Tuesday (and a kick-ass flier it was, too). I also realize the show this flier is advertising is already over, as of last night. But I absolutely could not resist giving this flier some props. It’s awesome. I have no idea how this illustration relates to the awesome instrumental prowess of the one and only Peña, but I love it regardless. It simultaneously reminds me of the old Operation game, illustrations from a theoretical kids’ book on health from the era of my childhood, and some of the currently hot pop-art styles I have seen in meanderings. I really dig the colors in particular.
