Reader support matters more than ever

We're in the final stretch of our summer campaign. Our goal is to raise $25,000 by August 9 to support the journalism our community relies on. Reader support is helping shape the future of local news.

In one of the best scenes in the spaghetti Western A Fistful of Dollars, Clint Eastwood tells the old undertaker to “get three coffins ready,” then blows away a few of the Baxter clan for laughing at his mule. While this band might have borrowed its name from that film, it actually has more in common with Man or Astro-Man? and the Shadows than with Ennio Morricone, who soundtracked many a Western.
