$20,000

Last year, Full Flavor Fridays brought some of the best national (and international!) talent out there to its underground weekly event, and the trend is continuing this year. For its first 2012 headliner, Full Flavor is bringing us Hugh Cleal, a Detroit native who cut his teeth on violin and orchestral tunes and later founded /sin-de-kat/ productions, which put on events to introduce acts such as Carl Cox, Q-Bert and the Pharcyde to the Detroit warehouse scene. Cleal, who made his production debut in 2010, has been featured on Open Bar Music, Juiced Music, Exchange Bureau, Deep Hype Sounds and more (including Full Flavor, of course) over the past two years; in fact, his Fool’s Play EP was a top-ten hit during its World Music Conference 2011 release. When Cleal comes to Bar Standard this Friday, January 6, he’ll be dropping underground techno with support from Khalib and Ryan Mack.
