Introducing The Radio Bums Hangout at Gallery 22: Saturdays will never be the same

Oh, man, it's about to get all sorts of dumb over at Gallery 22 on Saturday afternoons. Just heard that the Radio Bums crew is taking over the patio from 1-6 p.m. for The Radio Bums Hangout. If the flier is to be believed the Bums will be throwing down "old school hip-hop, mash-ups, Top 40 and whatever else you ask for!" Speaking from experience -- having "hung out" with these hooligans in the past at their record pool every other Saturday for a number of years -- I can tell you, you can also expect plenty of clowning, general tomfoolery and jokes aplenty. See full-sized flier after the jump and listen to a special mix from El Jefe himself, DJ Chonz, after the jump.

Support the independent voice of Denver and help keep the future of Westword free.

Keep Westword Free... Since we started Westword, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Denver, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" membership program, allowing us to keep covering Denver with no paywalls.
