The Colorado Music Hall of Fame just announced it will be inducting Jazz Aspen Snowmass founder and CEO Jim Horowitz this year, and in celebration, JAS will host a blockbuster Labor Day festival with a lineup including Lenny Kravitz, Imagine Dragons, Luke Combs and more.

“Thank you to the Colorado Music Hall of Fame for this incredible recognition. In 1989, I woke up from a music festival tour to the southwest of France with a vision to re-create that magic, in a certain special location in the Rockies, with a very different musical history," Horowitz says. "Despite some setbacks along the way, thankfully I never quit, and an extraordinary team of passionate music lovers, the JAS Team is keeping the flame alive. It’s humbling and deeply gratifying to say that JAS Aspen is a permanent fact of Colorado life!”

Horowitz founded JAS in 1991 as a music nonprofit that preserves jazz through events, education and concerts. The induction for both Horowitz and the nonprofit will occur during the three-day Labor Day weekend festival, dubbed the JAS Experience, from August 29 to 31.

The final day, on Sunday, August 31, will include openers Grace Bowers & the Hodge Podge and the Marcus King band before headliner Luke Combs closes out the festival.
