“I can’t wait to bring Experts Only Ski Weekender back next month—bigger than ever at Vail!,” exclaims visionary artist and entrepreneur John Summit.

“These events include stacked lineups of EO artists, as well as hosting afterparties, pop-up DJ sets on the mountain and more. It’s the kind of event we throw that really captures what Experts Only is all about, and I’m excited to do it again with everyone.”

Vail, Colorado isn't typically the first place you'd associate with pulsing house music, but then, John Summit is not your typical electronic dance music producer. This Chicago-born DJ and producer has a knack for transforming any landscape into an unexpected and energetic dance floor.

John Summit brings his Experts Only musical party for two nights, February 14 and 15, at Ford Parking Lot in Vail.

AEG Presents is redefining Vail as a must-visit destination for music and travel enthusiasts. With its stunning mountain setting, Vail offers the perfect backdrop for unforgettable events like Summit’s two-night takeover, as well as recent shows with acclaimed DJ and producer J. Worra, Tiësto, and more.

But John Summit will truly command the attention of anyone who follows dance and music coming up on Valentine’s weekend.

Fans of electronic music's evolution have seen trends come and go. But Summit—and his label Experts Only—represents something different. He’s a genuine artist who bridges underground credibility with mainstream appeal. His return in Vail promises to be a cultural moment where ski town energy meets the vibrant community of House music.

What makes Summit unique isn't just his musical prowess, but his authenticity. In an era of overly produced EDM, he maintains a raw, genuine connection with his audience. Between tracks, you could see him genuinely enjoying the moment, feeding off the crowd's energy as much as they were absorbing his music. The superstar DJ, producer, and label owner has nearly one billion all time global streams across his catalog, two #1 US dance radio hits, two Top 10 tracks on the Billboard Hot Electronic/Dance Songs chart, and sold-out shows across the globe. Yet, behind the larger-than-life persona is a thoughtful, detail-oriented artist who once worked as a CPA by day and taught music production tutorials by night.

Vail’s evolution into a premier winter destination for music fans is no accident—it’s the result of a deliberate collaboration between AEG Presents and Vail Mountain to redefine what an alpine getaway can offer. This season, the lineup of world-class artists and thoughtfully curated events is setting a new standard for combining live music with breathtaking scenery and adventure.

The musical momentum continues with AEG’s two-night Après at The Amp series at the Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater: On April 4, Jungle (DJ Set) and L’Impératrice will bring their dynamic performances to this iconic venue, followed by Sammy Virji and Goth Babe on April 5. These events are a testament to the shared vision of Vail and AEG to create unforgettable experiences that blend music, community, and the natural beauty of the Rockies.

Rachel Levitsky, Sr. Communications Manager, Vail Mountain says, "Vail continues to come alive as a music scene, following some incredible performances from artists like Tiesto, Eli & Fur, J. Worra, and more. Whether you’re catching a show atop Eagle’s Nest Rooftop, in Ford Park, at Chasing Rabbits or anywhere in the village, you’re surrounded by incredible mountains that make for the perfect dance party backdrop. You might tire your legs out after skiing all day in the Back Bowls, but live music brings a second wind to keep the party going."

Vail is redefining its identity as not only the world’s premier alpine destination but also as a cultural hotspot for music lovers. The seamless integration of premier artists, iconic venues, and outdoor adventure creates a one-of-a-kind music experience.

Vail’s breathtaking landscapes and world-class amenities offer the perfect backdrop for live events. Highlights include:

Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater (The Amp)
A scenic open-air venue perfect for Après events, blending music and community in an intimate setting.

Eagle’s Nest Rooftop
A mountaintop venue delivering intimate, high-impact performances with breathtaking views.

Ford Park Parking Lot
An expansive outdoor venue offering high-energy performances under the stars.

Vail Village
Bavarian- and Swiss-inspired villages where live music thrives with pop-up performances, DJ nights, and more.

And, of course, Vail offers world-class skiing and snowboarding on 5,317 acres of terrain, including seven Legendary Back Bowls. Plus, world-class dining and nightlife. From fine dining to Bavarian beer halls, there’s something for every palate. And finally, Vail has unique lodging options from luxury resorts to cozy chalets, and everything in between.
