Houses aren’t the only folks releasing a new CD tonight. Over at the Soiled Dove Underground, Angie Stevens is issuing her eagerly awaited disc, Queen of This Mess, the follow-up to her Stand Up Girl 1 & 2. As you’ll hear after the jump, Grammy-winning producer Malcolm Burn, who recorded and produced the disc in upstate New York this past December, wisely chose to take a light handed approach to production, which ultimately allowed him to catch Stevens in her essence and at her absolute best. Tonight’s show is sold way out, so if you don’t already have tickets, unfortunately, there’s no chance of catching this one.
