The 2026 football season doesn’t start until September, but Folsom Field will be packed on Saturday, June 6, when Mumford & Sons rolls through.

The Grammy-winning English folk-rock trio just announced the University of Colorado campus stop, which will be part of its massive U.S. arena tour in support of new album, Prizefighter, which dropped on February 20. The Boulder bill includes support from country crooners Sierra Ferrell and Dylan Gossett.

Pre-sale for AGORA members begins on Tuesday, February 24, at 10 a.m., while general on-sale starts Friday, February 27, at the same time. There will be a limited number of student-priced tickets available at the Champions Center Ticket Office at 2150 Stadium Drive from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., too. Don’t forget to bring your valid student ID.

Prizefighter, released via Glassnote Records/Gentlemen of the Road, was co-produced and co-written with The National’s Aaron Dessner at his Long Pond Studio in upstate New York, and features collaborations with Hozier, Gracie Abrams, Chris Stapleton and Gigi Perez. The album sessions were as much about rediscovery as recording. Days spent writing in Hudson cafés and nights spent around Long Pond’s kitchen table gave rise to songs that feel unpolished in the best sense — alive with first takes and the joy of simply making music together again. Reenergized, rejuvenated and in the form of their lives, Prizefighter embraces and reflects that full-strength energy and enthusiasm with fourteen songs of light, shade and everything in-between.

Editor's Picks

The record arrives less than a year after RUSHMERE, the band’s long-anticipated No. 1 album from last March, and is the result of a prolific period of songwriting. And for a band whose unique sound has helped to both influence and inspire countless artists all around the globe, the group believes Prizefighter is the finest example of how Mumford & Sons leads by example. Long celebrated for it electric live performances, touring has defined Mumford & Sons from the beginning, in shaping the members’ sound, building their global fanbase and fostering their collaborative spirit.

For local music fans and students, this is the second Folsom Field concert announcement this week, after RÜFÜS DU SOL announced a stop in Boulder on August 22. Country music star Tyler Childers is also returning to Folsom, where he played a sold-out show last summer, on July 18. DJ and CU alum Disco Lines is headlining Farrand Field April 18, too.

But Phish will not be back at Folsom; it announced this week that it’s returning to Dick’s Sporting Goods for a three-day run Labor Day weekend.
