Last night at the Bluebird was night one of Pure Sunshine, the aptly named Rick Kulwicki celebration and benefit. Among Kulwicki's family, friends, fans and many admirers (with Rick, it seems, none of those terms are mutually exclusive), all of the remaining members of the Fluid were of course on hand to help celebrate the dearly departed King of Men. James Clower's bands, the Bonnie Situation and Supermodified, performed, and a couple of the other guys sat in with the Purple Fluid, the band featuring Rick's sons, Richard and Roman; Garrett Shavilk played drums for the entire set, and John Robinson sang two songs with the boys.
