Saint Motel captivated crowds at the Mission Ballroom on March 29. The American indie-pop band has been a staple since 2007, when it was formed by lead vocalist A/J Jackson and guitarist Aaron Sharp while they were attending Chapman University. Known for its vibrant, cinematic sound and energetic live performances, Saint Motel blends catchy melodies with brass instrumentation and upbeat rhythms. Its breakout hit, "My Type," brought the band international recognition, leading to festival appearances at Coachella and Lollapalooza. With such albums as saintmotelevision and The Original Motion Picture Soundtrack, Saint Motel continues to push creative boundaries through immersive visual experiences and interactive music projects.
