Earlier this year, Billboard named Red Rocks Amphitheatre a Top Bucket List Venue. Now the magazine's data reports that Red Rocks, which is steeped in music history, was the most-attended outdoor venue in the U.S. and the most-attended amphitheater in the world.

In 2023, Red Rocks ranked as the second-most-attended venue in the U.S., just behind Madison Square Garden, and the fourth-most-attended venue in the world, trailing O2 Arena in London, MSG and Auditorio Nacional in Mexico City.

This comes as no surprise, of course. Since officially opening in 1941, Red Rocks has become a destination for performers and music lovers alike, and many people went there in 2024 (along with a few space aliens, perhaps). Billboard reports that nearly 1.7 million ticket holders went to the venue last year, which held more than 200 events — 198 of them concerts.

There's a lot more to look forward to this year, as well, with the 2025 Red Rocks schedule listing artists who are almost as much of a "must-see" as the venue itself.
