It started off as an e-mail thread conversation with some former coworkers about absinthe. We went back and forth for a while on the best way to get, prepare and truly enjoy the wormwood wonder before I reached way back into my toxic past to summon the best liquid buzzes I've ever had. Hands down it has to be the time a friend of mine and I split a bottle of cough syrup and drove from Golden down I-70 at a top speed of five miles per hour to the Grizzly Rose. I don't recommend any element of that three-part equation to anyone reading this. But the memory did put a smile on my face. And so, attempting to stoke some nostalgia, I went Youtube hunting for the Three 6 Mafia tune "Sippin' On Some Syrup" and found this claymation gem that simply boggles the mind. It's not quite the real thing, but watching this video gets you about as close to rollin' on syrup as your boss would probably allow during work hours. Enjoy. -- Sean Cronin
